These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BesideMe mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility — 18+

BesideMe is an adult application intended only for people aged 18 or older. By using the App you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher).

2. What BesideMe does

BesideMe lets you upload reference photos of your own doll or figure and generate AI-composed photographs of that doll in different outfits, poses, and scenes. Generation consumes credits, which you receive on a limited free basis and may purchase.

3. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the App to create, upload, or share content that:

depicts, resembles, or sexualizes minors, or uses child-like dolls or figures. This is strictly prohibited, may be illegal, and may be reported to law enforcement;
depicts real, identifiable people, or uses photos of real people, without their consent;
is sexually explicit or pornographic, or contains nudity;
is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes others' rights;
impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation;
attempts to bypass safety filters, rate limits, the credit system, or other technical controls.

Uploaded images may be automatically screened for safety. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without refund.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the images you upload and the images you generate. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your content solely to operate the App (including sending it to third-party AI providers to generate and enhance images). You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to the content you upload.

5. Credits and purchases

One credit is consumed per image generation. Free credits are limited and may be granted once per account and device.
Subscriptions and credit packs are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription credits reset each billing period and do not roll over; credit packs do not expire.
Purchases are processed by the relevant app store. Refunds are handled according to that store's policies and applicable law; we do not separately process payments.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated images may be inaccurate, imperfect, or unexpected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BesideMe and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Certain provisions survive termination, including sections 4, 6, 7, and 9.
