This Privacy Policy explains how the BesideMe app ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your information. BesideMe is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Information we collect

Account identifier & email (via Apple, Google, or email sign-in)	To create and secure your account and attach your credits.
Images you upload (doll reference photos, outfits, backgrounds) and images you generate	To produce your requested AI photos.
A device identifier	To grant the one-time free trial and prevent abuse.
Purchase status (subscriptions / credit packs)	To provision the credits you bought. Payments are processed by Apple/Google — we do not receive your card details.
Basic usage events (e.g., generation started/completed)	To operate, secure, and improve the App.

How we use your information

To provide image generation and manage your credit balance;
To screen uploads for safety and enforce our Terms (including prohibiting illegal content);
To process purchases and prevent fraud and abuse;
To maintain, secure, and improve the App.

Third-party services

To run the App we share the minimum necessary data with service providers, including:

OpenAI and fal.ai — to generate and enhance images from your uploads and prompts;
Supabase — authentication, database, and secure storage/processing;
RevenueCat and the Apple App Store / Google Play — to process and validate purchases.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your account data and your images for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see Contact).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
